Q&A with Chris Coste
Former Indians farmhand Chris Coste took the time to answer a number of questions for me, for my website (www.SethSpeaks.net). He has some wonderful things to say about Erik Wedge, Jim Thome and more.

Coste spent the 2005 season with Scranton-Wilkes Barre and was again an International League All-Star. He spent three years with Buffalo.
He has some wonderful things to say about Erik Wedge, Jim Thome and more. Although at 32 he is not a major prospect, he is not giving up his dream as long as teams continue to want him.
Check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks,

Re: Q&A with Chris Coste
In seriousness, it's a nice piece, and Coste certainly seems like a nice guy. Coste's main problem is that he didn't make it into affiliated baseball (in Akron) until age 27, so he was only a prospect for about one year at most. He does seem to have the right idea, that his chance to make the majors is when a team has a need for a backup catcher. He is getting old, but his skills are still there, and you never know what can happen. Hell, Sandy Martinez got a World Series ring.
