I know it's a bad idea to put too much stock in one game and obviously health is a concern, but man did he look good today.
Bobby Howry did a great job for us the last couple years, but he never dominated like Mota seems to be able to. Having someone that can come out in a tough spot and just flat out blow people away is a nice thing. Mota throws very hard and his ball has great movement. I think he could have had another couple strikeouts today, except that it looked to me like the home plate umpire was simply not willing to call a third strike against Chicago in that situation.
If this guy can stay healthy, he is going to be a huge asset.
