I listened to Kevin Keane on WWWE (yes, I know, but it will always be WWWE to me) last night after the game and he was implying that the team caught the losing virus from Jason Johnson, who in his career has typically done just wellenough to lose consistently. In essence, he was saying that Johnson has not been losing because he's played on crappy teams, but because he's a loser. Case in point - Detroit with Johnson - bigtime losers, but Detroit without Johnson - winners.
While I don't take Keane very seriously for anything but entertainment value, and his screed on Johnson is nothing but scapegoating, it does raise a question - Is losing infectious? We seem to think that winning is, but is losing? Have we caught the "losing bug", and can we find a cure?
