Cleveland at St. Louis, 8:10 PM (STO)

Starting Pitchers:

Cleveland: Jake Westbrook (6-4, 4.36 ERA)
St. Louis: Chris Carpenter (6-4, 2.97 ERA)

Cardinals pitching coach Dave Duncan has had a knack of turning careers around, and Carpenter is probably his greatest success. The Blue Jays released him after the 2002 season after posting a 5.28 ERA in 73.1 innings. After sitting out 2003 with arm troubles, Carpenter broke out in 2004 (15-5, 3.46 ERA), and won the 2005 NL Cy Young Award(21-5, 2.83 ERA).
