This was supposed to be Justin Verlander's start, but the Tigers pulled him, wanting to ease his innings in August and September.
There's been no DL decision as of yet on Casey Blake, who injured his ankle in last night's game. Ryan Garko seems the obvious choice to replace him on the roster if Blake does go on the shelf.
