OT: John Adams' "Buddy"

So, my wife is sitting next to me and is fascinated by the the guy sitting next to John Adams for the past two games.  Does anyone know his story?  He is an older man with long bushy sideburns and a throwback cap (with an old "C" on it).  He is also dressed up in a heavy parka.

Has he always been there?

Completely amazed by this guy the last two games. This may be awful of me, but i did not expect to see him sitting there again next to JA for the second game. Either way: sweet game, sweet hat, sweet dude. Would be fascinated to learn his entire life story.

I have a class with his wife.  She normally goes.  We had class Monday during game 3.  I skipped it and she didnt.

HaHa, that is way too funny that he caught others' eyes too. I don't mean it in a mean way or anything, but I couldn't stop laughing when I saw him there for the second day in a row on TV. Last night, they showed John Adams, slowly panned the camera back, and there he was again :D

My wife wonders if he is a street person or something.  He looks nothing like the Fenway pressed-shirt crowd, which makes him even more interesting to look at.

Then again, Eric Wedge with his scruffy beard doesn't look that much different from a homeless man.  (Listening to the Boston sportstalk this morning is sweet - they are frustrated by not only losing to the Indians, but being outmanaged by a man that looks like he is asking for change outside of a Seven-Eleven.)

This is so funny.  I recognized him on TV monday night.  He's no homeless guy.  I've seen him many times riding the RTA Red Line westbound for the last 12 years and gets off at Triskett.  I think he's an attorney here in C-town.  He is a BIG intimidating looking dude, but I remember somebody telling me that he is a super nice guy.  I've been asking people I work with about him all week and nobody knows who I'm talking about.  Now I'm on a mission.  Next time I see him on the train, I'll suck up the nerve to talk to him and maybe direct him to this site.
