Okay, I'll start the discussion.

It's too early to speculate what free agents might be available, and how we handle the closer spot.  But it's not too early to address the question of whether JoBo fits on the team at all.

I'll be the first to make the case for J-Lew as a high-leverage closer; occasionally going more than an inning and even (gasp!) coming in with men on base.  But all of that depends on whether we can fill his current role.

I salute Joe Borowski for pitching his face off with next-to-nothing stuff.  He's a stud.  But given how much money 45 saves will command, I can't fathom us paying for him.
