I hope Omar re-signs with San Fran. I'd love to go to that game.

The Indians NL Lite will come to town as we see the returns of Kouz, Giles, and Bard.

Re: 2008 Interleague Games
Planning a trip to SoCal next year to see the Dodgers, Padres and Angels.  Hoping to catch the Tribe, but I think the trip to Dodger Stadium is going to overlap the end of my son's baseball season.  Looked for the Angels schedule the other day, but it wasn't up yet.

Can't wait for the June series.  Hopefully, we can get a LGT get-together in LoDo as I've seen a few CO based members here.  Should be a great time.

Hey,

Didn't realize there was already a Denver Tribe Fan.  I guess I should pick another screen name.  Anyway, we should all go to these games together.

Re: 2008 Interleague Games
No worries.  I don't post that often and I'm sure there won't be any confusion.  Regardless of ticket situation, we will definitely have to get together before the games for a couple of drinks if we cannot all sit together or have different obligations regarding where we procure our tickets.

Re: 2008 Interleague Games
Absolutely.  Good to know there are other Indians' hopefuls out here in the Rocky Mountain west.

Re: 2008 Interleague Games
Instead of next June, the Indians should be playing the Rockies right now.  They would be, if not for the poor performance of Sabathia, Carmona and Hafner.  Somehow Hafner's hayseed jokes were a lot funnier when he had an OPS of 1.000 plus.
The Rockies are in the midst of Rocktober, and the World Series tickets were finally distributed despite a long foulup by the company hired to handle the enormous request for tickets.  The Red Sox at least held a lottery and no more than 2 tickets were distributed to one person.
It should be a great series here next summer - delayed by 8 months by our collapse in the ALCS.
I think there will be more turnover in the Indians roster next year than expected.

Re: 2008 Interleague Games
Obviously I'd much prefer to see the Tribe in the Mile High City in October, but I can't let this ALCS take over all of my thoughts.  We have to move on and look forward to next season.  No doubt this next week will be tough, but I'm going to try and avoid the WS at all costs.  A difficult thing to do, especially in the midst of "Rocktober", but I'd be miserable if I did not.

I suggest you start thinking about how Shapiro will improve the team in the offseason and look forward to seeing the Tribe in June out here in Colorful Colorado.  Otherwise, you could be looking at some gloomy days in the next few weeks or even months.

Re: 2008 Interleague Games
I am stoked for the June series at Dodger Stadium.  As far as I know, the Tribe has never played here before (unless you count the preseason series a few years ago).  I plan to go to all 3 games.  Maybe I'll go to each game twice if one of you time-machine guys can explain how that works.

I'm going to have a busy mid-June.

Anybody else out in SoCal should look me up around then.
