Brothers and sisters, Christmas is almost here.  The tree is trimmed and I see all kinds of goodies under it.  There's gonna be something this year for all of us, not like last year or the year before.  Two years ago I was sure we'd get some awesome presents - but then Mom's old Pontiac broke down on the corner of 9th and Bolivar and she hadda buy a new transmission.  Last year the roof sprung a leak and Mom hadda get it fixed - so there was nothing left for presents.  But this year - oh this year - I gotta feelin' it's gonna be special.  Looks like Uncle Mark got his bonus from Lincoln Electric early - and I think he gave Mom the where-with-all to get us some really neat stuff this year.  In fact, I think I saw him out in the garage last night - ya think he's puttin' together that new Roadmaster bike I want?  Man, I hope so.

    So the holiday is almost upon us - time to put down all the petty fights we had this year and come together as a family.  Yeah, yeah, I remember all the little dust-ups from this summer, but in the end we're still brothers-in-arms - at least for the rest of the season.
