Where are you watching Game 4?

...and if you're in Cleveland, I might join you there. (Err, that is if it is a public drinking establishment of some sort.)

Star-divide

I'm assuming there weren't many get-togethers for Game 3 since it was on a Sunday.

I'll be in the fetal position in my bed clutching a bottle of something alcoholic.

Coincidentally, this is also one of my possible scenarios.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
in front of my 42inch watching in TBS's mediocre Hi-Def, finishing off the remnants of last week's beer purchases and flipping to the MNF between commercials, hoping the Cowboys can cover the 10.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
I don't post here much, but I'm on this board all the time and definitely stressing right along with the rest of you. I'm re-creating the day of game 1, which has been the least stressful day of the series. I wore the same clothes, am doing the same activities at the same times, bringing the same people to my house for the game and making them wear the same thing they wore Thursday and sitting in the same spots. We're eating the same food, and I even started a fight with my girlfriend last night because we fought the night before game 1. I hope this works.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
I will be in the downstairs lounge in front of the big screen, wearing my Game 1 jersey. I wore a T-shirt for Game 2, so that worked too. I may wear the jersey over the T-shirt.

And my nerves will not allow me to stand, so I will be reclining for 4+ hours.

Hmm.  I guess I need to get me one of them big-screen doohickies.

Still using a 27", old school TV.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
On stage during the game.

After the game, checking score, if we won, watching it on DVR. If we didn't, deleting the DVR and watching my Bills get slaughtered on MNF.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
I will be taking an accounting test.  Prediction: I will not do well because I'll be trying to finish in record time so I can watch the end of the game.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
Where will you be sitting?  I dread the after-game subway ride if we don't pull this off.  Glad to see at least one other LGTer will be in attendance.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
You misunderstand...

My wife will be watching in Yankee stadium.  (I don't know where, exactly.)

I will be here in Cleveland.

I'm not bitter.

I'm thinking the 4-B-D will be dicey for you win or lose.  Especially if you're wearing Tribe gear.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
I will be taking the D, and will only be wearing my hat (i.e., something removable).  Not out of a lack of pride, but I would prefer not to get shanked in the solar plexus.  Luckily I will be sitting nowhere near the mongrels in the bleachers.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
I've got an Ohio State shirt and a script I hat. I figure we risk being chanted at, but I've never felt physically threatened in the 11+ years I've been watching the Indians play in the BX.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
Oh, I'm not in fear of being bodily assaulted.  I've been to the Big House as an opposing fan, so any chants or screams or thrown beer cans aren't going to faze me.

However, being forced to listen to the subway goons for 25 minutes each way seems like a fate worse than death.

Based on what I saw last night, I can't imagine seeing too many Tribe fans.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
I'll be at my son's baseball game with my XM radio.

They're not running feeds of both home and away radio broadcasts yet, so I'll have the choice of Sterling and Waldman from WCBS or Jon Miller and Dusty Baker on ESPN.

I would have thought that ESPN would be the obvious choice, but Miller's becoming insufferable.  He didn't realize Cabrera's pop-up in the 11th of game 2 was a text book infield fly rule call, and he had Grady coming around to score the first run of game 3 - it was Cabrera, Grady was already out.

Unfortunately, alcohol is not permitted on the baseball complex where my son'll be playing tonight.

That's why my kid keeps getting picked off!

I'll have to remind him to "get on the bag" tonight, and bring some snow cones.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
I opted for the Waldman/Sterling combo last night - it was marvelous!  The whining - accusations - fault finding was superb!  I highly recommend it - if that New York baseball team ever manages to get back into the play-offs against us again.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
I'll be sitting in my International Finance lecture trying to pay attention to my professor while keeping an eye on the game via Gameday.

I'd much rather be at home watching the game despite the fact that TBS HD hasn't arrived in Seattle and probably won't any time soon.

Cough, cough, Com-not-so-tastic, cough...

Completely off topic, when did the DirectTv - Tivo alliance fall apart?  If they were still working together, I'd tell Comcast to stick it today.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
I interned with MLB.com this summer, and I have access to all games via mlb tv and mlb audio. I'm tempted to give up that information so you can watch the game, and also for all Indians fans who want to hear the radio broadcast and not the Yankee-homer TBS announcers. Unfortunately, I wish to work full-time for MLB.com someday, so, despite my heart's desire, I can't give up the info since I agreed a long time ago not to. It kills me.

Re: Where are you watching Game 4?
No worries.  Thanks for the offer, but my struggles to pay attention to the IF lecture would be completely compromised if I had video distracting me.  I doubt hooting and fist pumping would help my grade any...and I know swearing and throwing things around the room will result in a less-than-optimal outcome.  ;^)

Good luck landing a position with MLB, I hope the job is interesting and reasonably well compensated.

I'll be watching from home with the wife, wishing that Insight Cable had TBS HD (although I'm one of the few that get the Big Ten Network, so I should be happy about that.)  I'll also be running between the TV and computer to see what you guys are talking about during the game.
