Drube gets some luv from HT
The Hardball Times' Chris Constancio has identified Drube as one of the top 3 most improved minor league contact hitters.

While it is not exactly 'gushing' praise, and it certainly has to do with him being at a too-advanced level for his age in the years prior, it is nevertheless encouraging to see him recognized for his progress. Hopefully he will maintain his rate of improvement.

Re: Drube gets some luv from HT
When need to get off to a fast start or the feeling of 2006 will start to creep back into our heads. If we don't strengthen our team this off season we will finish third in the division to the Tigers and Twins. The twins have a CF problem right now but the Red Sox would likely trade them a relief pitcher for Coco. The twins starting pitching will be if not the best one of the best in the American League. The bullpen will be solid as always and the hitting will be about the same maybe slightly better as Mauer was hurt quite a bit last year. The Tigers will be better and adding Rent-A-Wreck will improve their already strong offense. Their bullpen will be the key to their season but I am sure they will add one or two pieces before the season starts.
