All in all, I like this move a lot for the Nats. Character issues notwithstanding, Dukes could be huge. If the DC FO can get him on the right track as they did with Dmitri Young, this trade will be a huge coup for them. An outfield of Milledge, Dukes and Kearns looks pretty nice, especially since they gave up next to nothing.

At the very least, it looks like the Nats are moving in the right direction with young, cheap talent.
