The abdominal strain strikes again

Abdominal strains : Indians :: Staph infections : Browns.

This time it's Cliff Lee. AC just mentions it in passing so hopefully it's not a big deal (last paragraph):

Hopefully not related to the sports hernia Cliff had a few years ago.

The last few months local and national press have really been talking up the Indians medical staff, and they've definitely done a great job with the pitchers, but on the other hand we seem to get 2 or 3 of these a year. CC, Blake, and Crowe all had one last year, IIRC.

On the other hand the "abdominal strain" might just be the new "flu-like symptoms", and Cliff maybe just went on a bender.

Re: The abdominal strain strikes again
CC's abdominal is too big for any one medical staff to treat.

Re: The abdominal strain strikes again
Good one!  But you know, judging just from a couple of photos, he looks to be in fairly decent shape this spring.  Hoping against hope,...

Re: The abdominal strain strikes again
Perfectly serious.  For CC, this is sleek.

Re: The abdominal strain strikes again
As my friend said when I called him over, "At least he's not bigger."

Reminds me of what Zach Randolph's HS coach says about him [paraphrasing]
"Every day I wake up and C.C.'s not 400 pounds, it's a good day..."

Re: The abdominal strain strikes again
And Cliff Lee looks like a mal-nutritioned foster child.
