In Friday's 3/23 Weekend Journal edition, the Wall Street Journal provided its forecast, "The Best of the Better League", illustrated by a big-headed cartoon drawing of Grady.

The author, Allen St. John, places a lot of emphasis on '06 P-wins, picking the Indians to win the Central. In the ALDS, he has the Yankees over the Twins and the Indians over the Rangers (better P-wins than the A's and Angels).  He has the Indians knocking off both NY teams to win the first World Series in 59 years.

I love the cartoon of Grady and the conclusion, but projecting a WS win mostly on the basis of +11 P-win differential is quite a stretch.
