Watch mlb.tv in full screen on a Mac (without using Mosaic).

I wanted to be able to watch mlb.tv games in full screen without using Mosaic. Mosaic seems to hog a lot of memory and makes it difficult to do other things while I keep the Indians in the background.

From Lifehacker I discovered you can zoom in at pretty good resolution using the Control button and the trackpad (or mouse-wheel, I believe).

Zooming-in on the regular mlb.tv feed yields a pretty good fullscreen that is easy to get out of.

Watch out, though, if you zoom in too far you might get Pronked.

If there are better ways of achieving fullscreen, please let me know.

I don't have a click wheel on my mac mouse...is there any other way to get the same result?

Not in front of my mac now, but I believe it is apple option + for zoom, apple option - for zoom out.

If you install Flip4Mac and in the system prefs and click "launch quicktime player" you can then watch the games in a quicktime window, which you can expand to full screen. That's another option.

Got it work and it finally solved the problem...been struggling with it for a long time!

Cheers for the suggestion...now I just wish I'd bought MLB.tv Premium so it doesn't look as blocky full screen!

You're probably right, although the few posts on here recently about getting in touch with being difficult doesn't fill me with much hope! Particularly as I don't want to be onhold for a long time on an international call.

And they've taken months to answer an email before...worth a try though
