Somewhat OT: US College Team Touring the UK

Hey guys,

A team from John Hopkins University is touring Europe and will playing the Great Britain national team round the corner from me on Friday

I'm going to head down there to watch, and was wondering if any of our resident minor league/college ball experts had any tips for anyone I should be watching out for...in particular anyone who may have been an Indians draft pick! Unfortunately I have no idea who they're bringing with them but hopefully it'll be a strong team.

I know I could do it myself, but wouldn't have a clue where to start.

Cheers guys

Hey TFIL,

Im in London till next April but unfortunately I wont be able to make it as Ill be in Pamplona for the running of the bulls.

Didnt really even know there were some baseball organizations over here, people have been trying to indoctrinate me with cricket.

Have a good one, hope the rain holds off.

I don't think there's any chance the rain will hold off! This has been such a depressing summer so far, but still should be good hopefully.

There's a pretty good structure in place but its all on a very amateur level...there's no such thing a pro baseball team over here. But its all there is so I enjoy seeing as much as possible. If you get desperate for seeing some ball, check out the rest of the website and it gives details of other teams around the country.

I'll pipe in just to say I don't know anything about any players on Hopkins. It's not a traditional baseball power.
