I figure if the Indians win at least one of the games with the Tigers, they're in good shape. Two wins would ice it. The pitching matchups aren't very favorable however. Rogers vs. Byrd is tough, since Rogers seems to mystify the Indians. Westbrook vs. Verlander gives the Tigers the edge. The only really good matchup for the Indians is the 3rd one -- CC vs. Robertson (who DID pitch well against them last time out). I'm hoping they don't lose the first two, as that would put a ton of pressure on CC and give the Tigers hope.
The Indians hitting against KC made me very nervous. Very few hits in general, not many in crucial situations, and most against weak relief pitching. All three KC starters gave them problems. Hafner remains a mess, despite a slight improvement in RBI's. That's really hurting them offensively. And, Cabrera has cooled off. What, me worry?
