This has probably already been said, but I can't stop thinking that the big difference in this year's Indians team is defense. The ninth inning this afternoon really showed that: Borowski got a couple of ground balls, both of which produced tough plays. Cabrera was great on the first, and Peralta made a good play on the second. Last year, it would have been first and second, nobody out. That really made all the pitchers better and took the pressure off them to strike everyone out (Lee never figured this out!). So, props to the defense which kept the Indians in many, many games this year.
