Home attendance

Indians finished the regular season with paid attendance of 2,275,911, slightly above the teams's pre-season objective of 2.2 million.

The average for the 80 dates was 28,448, good for 20th in the ML, which is better than the low- to mid-20s spots they had occupied most of the year.  With a week to go, they should hold on to the 20th spot.  Colorado (22) and/or Baltimore (23) would have to average over 40,000 for their remaining dates to surpass the Indians average.

#21 Minnesota has finished its home season with a higher attendance than the Indians (2,296,383) but a lower average (28,350) because they played the full 81 dates.  The Indians numbers include the 3 games in Milwaukee.  The makeup game in Seattle does not have separate admission.

The Tigers will finish in the top 10 (currently 9th) with slightly over 3 million.  Something for the Indians to shoot for in 2008.
