division series
Trying to find out the following - assuming the Indians have the homefield advantage in the upcoming divisional series, which of the five games will be their home games? The rest of this is filler! I was fortunate enough to be selected in the 2nd phase of the lottery and bought tix for the second home game. So now I'm trying to figure out what date that might be under each of the two scenarios (with and without homfield advantage). Then I need to make travel arrangements from Boston. Thanks.

Re: division series
Team with best record (except Wild Card) gets home field. In DS, that would be 1, 2, and 5. In CS, that would be 1, 2, 6, and 7.
In WS, AL has home field, 1, 2, 6, and 7.

Re: division series
My assumption is that if the Indians or the Angles have their pick, they will take the series starting Wed. If the Redsox get to pick, they will choose the one that starts Thur.
If the Standings finish:
Scenario A1:
Indians
Redsox
Angles
We play the Yankees at the Jake Wed/Fri, Possibly Wed.
Scenario A2:
Redsox
Indians
Angles
We play the Yankees at the Jake Wed/Fri, Possibly Wed.
Scenario A3:
Indians
Angles
Redsox
We play the Yankees at the Jake Wed/Fri, Possibly Wed.
Scenario B1:
Angels
Indians
Redsox
We play the Redsox at the Jake Thur/Fri, possibly Wed.
Scenario C1:
Redsox
Angles
Indians
We play the Redsox at the Jake Sun, possibly Mon.
Scenario C2:
Angles
Redsox
Indians
We play the Redsox at the Jake Sun, Possibly Mon.
Long story short: We want the finish ahead of the Angels in the Standings. The Red Sox seem to matter much less.

Somehow, though, I feel like we've gone off on a tangent here...

Re: division series
I hear Obtuse is a second basemen in the mold of Ronnie Belliard.
