This is just a space-filler until the Rays crush the Red Sox.

wow…Loney looked a total fool on a few of those breaking pitches, then comes through with an off the wall hit

I’m not a fan of fruit flavored beers except for the occasional diversion. While putting together a mid-term review sheet, I just drank a Smuttnose Farmhouse Ale (22oz)…delicious

It’s very subtle, actually, which is why I like it. The raspberry is much more of an aromatic than part of the flavor.

The Smuttynose IPA is really good, but I haven’t found it since I moved out west.

If the Phils continue to beat up Billingsley here, the Dodgers are in trouble

Ok, so I can get an authentic Grady Sizemore homealternate off eBay for $60 — do I do it?

I mean, given my track record of jinxing people, I’m hesitant… but it’s SUCH a good deal.

Are you familiar with my jersey curse history?
Travis Hafner, bought before the 2007 season
Fausto Carmona, bought before the 2008 season
I’m a worse curse than SI Covers, Madden covers, and billygoats combined.
But I don’t believe in all that… do I?

Travis Hafner is overrated. Clarity is underrated. David Dellucci is David Dellucci.

So I got someone arguing with me about how Brett Meyers’ hits are proof that the DH rule sucks.
I on’t know where to begin.

Did anyone hear Rosensquirrel earlier talking about a C.C.-to-LAD trade?
He knew that we’d be sending C.C., Blake, and Carroll, and getting back McDonald and… he didn’t say. It was a pointless bit of “insider talk.”
