Lugo for Robertson or Willis?
What? I don't have the energy to even consider what that means.

I can see it, it gets the Red Sox one step closer to an all-white team.

I’d go with Robertson if I were Boston. He’s a little cheaper, 17 M compared to 22 M owed to Willis, and a little better. Robertson, according to FIP, suffered some bad luck last year. He would no doubt benefit from Boston’s much superior defense.
If I was Detroit, I’d do it for Willis, but not for Robertson. Robertson should bounce back to being a decent back end guy, and they don’t exactly have an abundance of those in Detroit. To give up that for Lugo, who costs just as much and will be 33 next year doesn’t seem like a good idea.
No idea. This big story about how Manny got the letter from the Red Sox threatening to suspend him … it’s front-page now, but I read that exact same story in July, either on ESPN or in one of the Boston papers. It’s not remotely a new story.
It’s amazing how Manny being Manny is suddenly now a bad thing according to the Boston sports pundits.
Part of the reason I hate the Red Sox is that I blame them for my current dislike of Manny.

I hate the Red Sox because they are evil.
