Thanks Tango! I think your Scouting Report is great and I always use it for a quick summation of a player’s defensive skills when I really haven’t seen them play very much. I think its very unique, and that the “cumulative subjective” metric for defense may be the most accurate there is.

For example, its always struck me at the ballpark how accurate the general reaction in the crowd is to balls and strikes. No one person has a good view, but taken together, there is instant feedback on how close the pitch was and whether the ump might have missed a call, etc.

Anyhow, great work. My only suggestion is to put the links to every year’s report on your front page so they are easily accessible. And of course, to spread the word more so you cab get more feedback, which means a bigger sample and more accurate results.
