Jhonny Bhaseball
"Let's let all the pieces fall into place," said Shapiro. "I'm playing on so many different infielders and so many different positions right now. The answer changes every day.
"He's been good at third," said Atkins. "Very smooth. No issues. All our reports on him have been good."

That’s so Shapiro (and really so LGT). It always seems like most GMs focus on a specific position or a specfic player. Not Shap. He’s like “eh, I’m all over baby. My game is GLOBAL.”
"It’s a hundred and sixty-two games till the playoffs, we got a roster full of talent, half the payroll of the Tigers, it’s snowing in April, and our polos are buttoned to the top. Hit it"

I have a friend teaching in the DR and happens to be living right down the street from Jhonny right now. He said JP is looking fit. I take that as encouraging.
Does that mean he’s losing weight? I hope he doesn’t end up getting “tiny” looking or anything like that.
"It's hard to win when you don't score." Cliff Lee, 9/28/05.
He didn’t explain. Hopefully he meant trim as opposed to small.

I love the links to cleveland.com…this article is followed by a discussion about moving Victor to third. Where do they find these people?
I doubt it, but he is currently the hitting coach for the Cincinnati Reds. It’s not like he’s out of baseball completely and needs to get his fix on LGT.
