Before the Yankees signed Mark Teixeira, they told Andy Pettitte's camp that the pitcher's chances of rejoining the Bombers would be in jeopardy if they signed another big free agent. Now that the Yanks have landed their new first baseman, the odds of Pettitte being a Yankee next year are "55-45 against," according to a baseball official familiar with the Yanks' plans.

“55-45 against,”
So, basically, their chances are also 55-45 for.
Travis Hafner is overrated. Clarity is underrated. David Dellucci is David Dellucci.

I work in a mentoring program and this afternoon, I took a few kids to the Harlem Globetrotters game at the Q. As part of the deal, you were able to text votes to determine what the coach of the Washington Generals would wear if they lost. The choices were a hot dog suit or a tutu. After the game (Spoiler alert: The Globetrotters won), they announced the poll results as 67% voted for the hot dog suit where as 43% voted for the tutu. I looked at the kids and told them I’d buy them a t-shirt if they could tell me what was wrong. Sadly, I did not have to buy a t-shirt…

Yeah, well, obviously the Generals coach should have to wear a tutu.
