I made the Scene
A much shorter version will appear in the print edition. I really should have been posting more here instead of spilling my guts to this guy, but you guys all know I'm a media whore.

Great interview, and it’s remarkable how many Tribe subjects can be dealt with knowledgeably in a relatively brief piece. Maybe someday Hoynes and the PD will take note of what’s possible and upgrade their Indians coverage! Maybe there will be world peace!
With the very interesting trade for DeRosa just announced, our need for fill-in versatility in the infield is met, and by a guy who can still get on base even if he’s declining. Which brings us to your Starter speculation. Since DeRosa eats up $5.5 million of payroll, do you think we still have enough left over for a starter? Given the slow market for free agents, it looks like taking our time on signing a starter can only help us. Lastly, is Barfield/Marte era now done and over with?
Hi Jay!
Living on the west coast, I, of course, wouldn’t know you from Adam (or Ryan for that matter) but I’ve come to really enjoy the banter here on LGT. I just am asking if the picture posted with this article is of you… is that you on the right? It would explain allot. Thanx
I admit i clicked again, thinking I’d missed something.
Travis Hafner is overrated. Clarity is underrated. David Dellucci is David Dellucci.
No, Jay looks just like George Clooney.

Good article as always, though the DeRosa trade blows up a few of your answers. But trades are impossible to predict, so you can’t be blamed. And nobody could blame you for trying to get your self out there in the media.
I think the real stab in the back is all the potty talk that is banned here. Swear words = fun.
