Indians game re-runs

Is there something wrong with me?

Star-divide

Is anybody else out there taking occasional looks at some of STO's game re-runs?  I was watching last night and my wife asked me if I thought more than one hundred people might be watching.  It was quite clear by her air of resignation that the word "losers" could easily be substituted for "people".  I kind of enjoy watching it when I'm freed of the angst-shackles of wondering how the game is going to turn out.  Watching Fausto go against Beckett last night was pure theater and I could just enjoy it without wondering where I left the Maalox.  Are there any other folks out there who feel the same way or do I need to let my wife affix a big "L" to my forehead?

Re: Indians game re-runs
When I visit my parents, I watch their tape of game 2 of the 07 ALDS on constant loop from the 9th inning on.

Re: Indians game re-runs
I just signed up for the DirecTV deluxe sport package that includes local sports channels including STO. I have EI, now I'll get to see the pre and post game shows too. I was just looking at the weekly programming and I could see myself watching re-runs of games, esp in the winter.

I think the term loser is relative. And no watching re-runs of ball games don't count.

Re: Indians game re-runs
I still watch Indians highlights online from last season - hell, from 2005 and 2006 too.

Sometimes, when I'm bored, I like to drink a 6 pack and watch Indians highlights. So maybe I am sort of a drunk after all.

Re: Indians game re-runs
Yeah, I've done that a lot with 07 highlights. It works great if you just imagine the ALDS as the World Series.

Re: Indians game re-runs
I almost never watch re-runs.  They just don't sustain my attention.  I sometimes go back to watch specific plays or pitch sequences unfold that I've been thinking about or that I want to write about -- did that a lot in October.  But other than that, pretty much never.

Re: Indians game re-runs
The other day I watched an 06 game, where Travis hit his 5th Grand Slam of the year in a drubbing against the Orioles.

I sobbed myself to sleep that night.

Re: Indians game re-runs
If you have DirecTV and are out-of-market (like me), you're out of luck.  Per STO, even replays are subject to MLB's blackout rules.  Seriously.
