can't find a box of this anywhere. This is not normally a comment I'd make. Just kinda wanna test the waters.

This is wild. Not sure if my avatar will be legible. Surprised to hear that Martinez had an IF single; I wonder who that played out. They put a shift on or somethin'?
So I was watching the Red Sox game this morning and they had some interview with a guy from Worcester, MA who brought his students to Japan for a trip. He was talking good stuff about the Sox, and then I noticed he was wearing a Tribe hat! Do we know who that fellow might be? I was outraged.

If the injury is of any significant length, I agree with you. Last year, I think there was some reluctance to use Frank in center on an on-again, off-again basis, but maybe they think he's comfortable enough in the ML outfield by now to play both spots, Alex Rios-style.

I don't if anyone has looked through Bill James' Goldmine, but I came across something interesting while flipping through the book at a Barnes and Noble. Apparently, by what ever method James used (it involved Gorillas and stuff), the 2006 Indians bullpen was the worst bullpen in the HISTORY OF BASEBALL. Well, since 1957 anyway. When bullpens started to become the norm.
About the 2006 'pen, we really can say - WORST. BULLPEN. EVER.

The description of the blog on the middle-right part of the screen is pretty fantastic. Also, darn those fellows at mlb.com for not having game logs for the spring anymore.
Glad you like it -- and the best part is, it's all true, even the ending that sounds like hyperbole. I had a moment of inspiration while fiddling with the "staging site" just before midnight, moments before the SBN team starting moving it to the live site. I'm thinking of starting a "mission statements while-u-wait" service.

It's sorta sad this was our last game with these yahoos (barring a home game in Houston during inter-league). I suppose I'll miss them during ST next year in Arizona.
