I read this when I got the magazine in the mail the other day. It's a very good read. Exactly what I like out of magazines-quality feature writing that reveals things that you only get from personal interviews. Strong narrative and all that.

The rest of the magazines, with the big season preview, big eye roll.

For instance, in the part on the Indians (who they pick to win) we get this gem:

The Tribe won 96 games even though Travis Hafner...struggled. Insiders blame contract negotations. But now Pronk is locked into a multiyear deal and ready to mash.

I'm sorry, that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. He got signed at the ASB. He wasn't really any better after it and, in fact, his only gigantic month was April, before the extension.

It's just arm chair psychology at it's dumbest.
