Directv Extra Innings schedule is up.
But no listing for the HD games yet.
Although it could be worse, .Comcast may not be showing any HD games with their Extra Innings package.
One extra note for Blackberry users - you've got to download the free little Indians application button. MLBAM is still a year ahead of the other leagues in delivering content.
Oh yeah, and here's the strikethrough.

They added the HD channels for DirecTV through the first series. All three games of the Indians series are in HD. Certainly promising for the rest of the season. I assume they're slowly working their way through April, assigning channels and so forth.

I have TimeWarner HD box, but is there an additional cost for Extra Innings in HD? I haven't ordered yet and am trying to figure out what I should get. HD for the majority of the season would probably be worth it

For those of us with with DirecTV the added cost is $50 for the High Def "MLB Superfan".

This is not entirely news. Comcast has never broadcast EI games in HD, and my guess is that none of the InDemand consortium of cable providers are. It may well be that DirecTV kept this one small part of the exclusive deal they originally signed before Congress got all huffy about it. Or it may just be that the cable companies aren't ready technically to do it yet.
I'm kind of grateful. If I could get 50 or more Indians games in HD, I'd have to break down and finally get an HDTV.

Yeah, it doesn't appear to be contractually limited to Directv: InDemand is advertising it. Must be a bandwidth issue.

Interesting, although it's not exactly the same ...
Yes, up to 10 games a week in high definition are included in the package at no additional cost. HD games are available in select areas, please check with your local provider for details.
DirecTV offers up to 40 games a week in HD, but you have to pay extra for it.

Any news on when Fios will be getting EI? I read an engadget story around late february that they were negotiating to get the package so I'm hopeful.

Ah crap. So I have to give Comcast more money and I don't even get HD? What a terrible, terrible company.
Burn on, big river, burn on...

Is it more on Comcast? It says $159 on the website - $40 dollars off the regular season price. Does that mean on Monday it jumps to $199? I kind of wanted to take the free week to decide whether I want to do mlb.tv again this year or make the jump to EI.

I'm pretty sure I got more HD games on the ESPN networks last year than I did with EI on Comcast
