I can't wait until we face him.
I just hope he doesn't make Pronk look silly.

Did I spot the other day Jason Davis being released by the Texas Rangers? Perhaps the Tigers could pick him up as well.
One day I'll get over to watch the Tribe play

There's a part of me that wants to see us sign J.D. or K-brera to a minor league deal, and there's a part of me that doesn't want to see them in the organization ever again.

It turns out that Cabrera was hurt last year. I can't find the story, but he has had elbow surgery--last fall, I think--and is on the Orioles' DL. I'd love to have him back.

Still doesn't entirely explain his crappiness in 2006. Don't get me wrong, I'd still love the guy back on a minor league deal, but I'm not too optimistic that he'll ever be consistent.

He had a high ERA in 2006 (5.19), but his peripherals weren't crappy across the board. Of course, there would be no guarantees, but he had success at every level, so it's not just a case of a guy with a great arm and no record of sustained success (e.g., Jason Davis).
