i disagree. vic over a replacement is one of the places where the tribe has the largest advantage. over shop, its less so, but its still a huge dropoff

Eight pick the Tigers to win the AL pennant, and only six pick the Indians. But look at who is picking whom:

Indians: Gammons, Neyer, Olney, Law, Nelson, Keri
Tigers: Stark, Crasnick, Phillips, Arangure, Rojas, Klapisch, Shea, Ravitz

So the Indians get picked by all the smartest and most respected writers, plus the only woman, while the Tigers get picked by all the known analytical morons and people you've never heard of.

Pay attention when TV shows a close-up of left handed hitters. There's an old man that sits in the front row that wears a neon colored baseball cap. I can't tell you what color, because he changes it every inning. It's awesome. My brothers and I noticed him last year during the playoffs, and then watched him all of Game 2 of the ALDS from the upper deck last year. He was just wearing yellow during Droob's at bat.
