What was this guy thinking ?

Former Tribe catcher Jesse Levis is in a bit of hot water with the authorities.  I wonder if Levis and Sauerbeck ever teamed up as battery mates at some point.  One guy behind the curtains and the other caught in the bushes.

Re: What was this guy thinking ?
We all probably know what this guy was thinking.

Decorum and the ground rule for posting preclude me from being more specific in describing what those thoughts were.

I think it's unfair for you to try to link this alleged pervert to Scott Sauerbeck.

Granted, Sauerbeck was no angel, but letting someone who's drunk drive you car and/or trying to hide it in the bushes to avoid arrest is a far cry from what the teenage girls by the pool claim Levis was doing.

Another thought on Sauerbeck, what kind of bushes does one try to hide a 1966 Lincoln Continental in?  Either the shrubbery was incredibly large, or Scott's brain was incredibly impaired.

Re: What was this guy thinking ?
Turns out he wasn't trying to hide the car in the shrubbery, he was trying to cut it down with a herring. Silly drunk.

Yeah, everyone knows you need a sturgeon if you're going to cut down a shrub ...(hic).

Re: What was this guy thinking ?
Harry Doyle,

In no way am I attempting to link Sauerbeck to Levis other than they both showed poor judgment.  Also, their stories were both a bit humorous.  :)

Re: What was this guy thinking ?
Sauerbeck's incident was amusing - I even poked fun at it above.

As the parent of a teenager (even though he's a boy), I find the Levis allegations far more disturbing than amusing.

If you don't have the same perspective, I can appreciate that the story may have struck you in a different way.
