Games Thread: March 9, 2008
Split Squad Action with the Nationals this afternoon. In the away game, Jeremy Sowers struggled in the first inning, giving up four hits, three runs and a walk. In the home game, Jake Westbrook has been amazing and Barfield and Marte went back-to-back with shots that sounded like no-doubters for a 2-0 Tribe lead.

Also mildly concerning was a Hammy report about two pitchers yesterday where Laffey and Jensen were each topping out, according to the scout he talked to, in the 85-86 range.
Hafner with an RBI double, scoring Michaels. 3-0 Tribe at home, 6-0 Nats on the road.

Hafner's RBI earlier gave him 4 in the past two days, after having 5 all last spring, if that means anything.
Pitching lines at home:
Westbrook- 3 IP, 1 H (should have been an error on Marte), 1 BB, 5 K
Kobayashi- 1 IP, 0 H, 1 K
Fultz- 1 IP, 1 BB, 1 K (back on for a second inning)

5-1 at home as Sizemore scores on a Camacaro sac fly (which is another phrase you might never see again).
