A Casey Blake injury would classify as a big picture victory, no? I’m not talking about season-ending and taking away his ability to give up depth down the stretch. I’m talking about a 2-month recovery, “get the hell out of my face for a while”-type injury.

I won’t steal indiansfan’s thunder, but allegedly he’s a pretty decent MI prospect. Drafted in ‘05 I believe; he was mentioned in just about all the Santana rumors. We’ll find out soon ‘nuff.

I’m irrationally skeptical of Red Sox prospects in particular, so he sucks in my book until I can no longer say that without sounding like a lunatic.
