Here’s my dream scenario. They hold a wiffleball game in the back yard. CC on the bump. His line:

As much as we find fault with his performance on the mound, I find it hard to joke about CC’s involvement with charitable activities, particularly those involving less fortunate young people. What CC is doing here is admirable, and I hope that is not forgotten in all of the drama over whether he should stay or go. If he goes, most likely his involvement in local charities goes as well, and that will likely be a sad thing for a lot of local young people.
The fact that the Indians may get another athlete to replace him who might have a similar level of involvement is beside the point.

I second that… his contributions to the community are second to maybe only Lebron, but Lebron has the added, I don’t know, “incentive” (?) because this area is more local to him.
But I can still laugh at the gameline.
You know Selig? Ombudsman.

I should have mentioned that I hate young people and really hate the less fortunate. My bad.
