I know it's the same thing they did last year. But I can't help but feel not good about this.

Because they must know more than they're saying.
And if it's good, why not say it?
But if it's bad, there are decisions to be made.......

I wish they were being more clear about what's going on with Vic, but there really isn't an urgent need to make any roster moves before mid-April.
Shoppach can catch 7 days in a row between the 2nd and 8th, they've got the 9th off, and then if Victor isn't ready to go by around the Tigers series on the 16th and 17th, they can DL him retroactively and call up Toregas for a few games.
I know nobody's really eager to see Garko catch, but at least there's a legitimate third catcher on the team - a guy who's played the position semi-regularly at a professional level. It allows the front office to figure out what they're going to do about Victor.
But I don't feel good about the silence.

Remember too that a player can be put on the 15-day retroactively, as long as he hasn't appeared in any games.

I say relax. They MRI may have been equivical and they're - the medical staff that is - waiting to do another today. Occasionally it takes a little longer. I wouldn't read anything sinister into the FO or med staff's reluctance to make an announcement immediately.
