Have to wonder if they don’t feel like pairing Lee and Martinez together all the time anyway, after that little dust-up last season. More likely it’s water under the bridge, but who knows?

I don’t think it has anything to do with personal catchers. I don’t think Vic’s hamstring is good enough to play first base and Wedge probably feels he can’t take Vic’s bat out of the lineup with this punchless offense. Therefore, he catches.
