Stomp is outside the circle at this point.

This thread does not suck.
This thread is actually linked to the “bugs game.” Click the link above.
by Jay on Apr 26, 2008 6:20 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Haha…..ok then. All I know is I clicked over and Damon got a lead-off double.
by Nat on Apr 26, 2008 6:21 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Still beats the hell out of the end of that last thread, though.
Just like Wedge, I waited too long to make my move …
by Jay on Apr 26, 2008 6:22 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Awesome, I need to read that thread. I was at the game and never went back and read it.
Il faut d'abord durer.

It’s not linked to the old thread, it’s linked to the game.
Technical thing, not worth explaining.
by Jay on Apr 26, 2008 6:24 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
My need to go back and read that thread remains, though.
I think I was the most stressed out anyone who had had 16 beers in one day has ever been. I practically gave myself a bladder infection because I both refused to stop drinking and leave to go to the bathroom.

shouldnt jhonny be standing like a foot away from the bag in foul territory in that situation, to avoid exactly what happened?
by mpstable on Apr 26, 2008 6:18 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Okay, I’ll say it again in this thread:
We are small balling with three innings to go against the yankees, against a pitcher who can’t throw strikes consistently. Wedge, bad bad bad bad bad. Got what we deserved, if you believe in karma, which I don’t.
by tabler84 on Apr 26, 2008 6:18 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
that’s why you stand on the bag at third, to avoid the unassisted double play

Girardi matching us with the bunting. Yay.

Well now we know where all that luck Sowers had went….right to the fucking skankees. Fuck my life and karma

I didn’t get to watch Sowers much…..was it luck that got him out of the jams?

Damn…I was hoping he had a solid outing.
by mjschaefer on Apr 26, 2008 6:21 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Well, consider that he was down in just about every count. And when you consider that he walked only the last batter that he faced, it’s amazing that his strike percentage was in the mid-50s.
Some hard hit atom balls, yeah. But I’ll give him credit for grit.

Is Cabrera the most overrated Yankee on their team right now? I say yes.

but he has put up numbers before. Melky is all hype.

He gave up one hit, it was a solid line drive but somewhat luckily placed.
by Jay on Apr 26, 2008 6:21 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I meant this season. He’s been painfully erratic….consistent with the rest of the team I guess.
