I think Dellucci and Pronk are spending a little too much time together...their terribleness on inside pitches is a shared trait.

To me between spring training and the first two games here it's the inside stuff he can't pick up. Most of his big hits that I've seen have been middle of the plate or the outside of the plate. Otuside and down he's struggled with too.

here is my thought on iron vs. steel. i dont want to step on anyone's toes, but what about making Perez=Iron and Betancourt=Steel. use the same memory trick as setting the table (fork,iron, left= 4 letters; spoon, right, steel=5)

As far as the nickname thing goes, it has to be the way it is in the song. Perez is steel, Betancourt is iron. There's only two of them, it'll be easy to remember if you just try and remember it.

All right question for the peanut gallery: I went with Extra Innings over MLBTV this year, but one of my favorite pastimes was to listen to all of exciting plays called by Hammy the next day. Is there still a way for me to do this, or should I just fork over another 15 dollars for MLBTV radio subsription?

Tough play. Ball and bat arrived at the same time, and Thornton caught the bat as the ball went past him. The Uribe threw a 2-hopper to Konerko that he couldn't grab. I'm not sure who would get the error there, so a hit isn't a horrible call.

FYI, my buddy in Chicago (who is a White Sox fan but otherwise a great guy) told me he discovered tonight that if you have Comcast, you can play the radio and the delay is exactly the same. So instead of Hawk and DJ you get Farmer and Stone ... Farmer's a tool, but Stone is one of the greats.
