Joe Borowski at Dillard's Beachwood Place
Joe Borowski at Dillard's Beachwood Place 4/10/08 6 PM

Indians' relief pitcher Joe Borowski will be at Dillard's Beachwood Place this Thursday April 10th for an event sponsored by Perry Ellis and Best Life Magazine.
An awesome event for fashion and sports fans alike to meet Borowski as he autographs baseballs, answers audience questions and talks about his life on and off the field, all while viewing the Perry Ellis Spring and Summer collections.
Customers who purchase $50 or more of Perry Ellis apparel will receive a Perry Ellis baseball and entry into the VIP line. (While supplies last).
Thursday evening at Dillard’s Beachwood Place is an extra-ordinary chance for customers to meet Borowski, receive giveaways and view the hottest looks from Perry Ellis.

I wonder if he would autograph a one-way ticket to Buffalo.

Oh man, why do I get the feeling that this post will be entered into evidence in a few months, to show premeditation.

We've had "motive." This is "opportunity." I'm not even going to speculate on what "means" someone would use.

The "answers audience questions," would have to be the best part.

This post is obviously a PR hit, not a true "fanpost." But PR pros usually have slightly better timing.

Is it possible to buy any item of Perry Ellis clothing and spend less than $50?

This is the worst PR timing since Jose Mesa unveiled his new cologne "Fountain of Youth" on October 27, 1997.

Can we leave this up just for irony's sake?

Someone who was at the game should have him autograph the score card.

You know, this has too much laugh quotient for me to take it down.
We all like Joe, but man, what horrible timing for a public appearance. Hopefully he gets a save tonight or tomorrow.

Is there going to be a game thread for this? I'll be passing by Beachwood place around 6, and it's tempting to stop in.
First i should see if I can pickup some Toriiiii Hunter gear in the mall.

... any word on whether Cobra's going to be appearing at the Beechwood Place Pottery Barn to launch his new collection of door mats?

I heard Fausto will also be appearing at Beachwood Place, but he'll be at Saks with bags and bags of cash to spend.

Actually, Fausto'll be spending bags of cash in one of these places ...http://www.locateadoc.com/directory.cfm/32/OH/Beachwood

No, but I heard a rumor that they sold so may Perry Ellis shirts before the event that they sent Jen Lew instead.

Was it a rough day, IndiansGal? Yeah, there’s a lot of that goin’ around this town lately. [Offers her a cigarette, lights his own. Drags thoughtfully.] It’s corny, I know, but sometimes [chuckles quietly] ... sometimes I think the only way to get through it all - the economy, the war, your celebrity PR client’s career collapsing cartoonishly before your very eyes - is to share it with someone. [Moves hand over hers, looks her square in the eyes.] Someone who understands.
IndiansGal … I can be that someone.

Judging by the pavement and the scale of those buildings, I’d say she’s in Brooklyn. That’s probably an auxilary building to the Domino sugar factory, which is several blocks north of the Williamsburg bridge. Or maybe she’s by Montrose. At any rate, if you ride the L train enough you’re bound to run into her.

Don’t be mean guys. JoBo is just giving everybody the chance to make sure he doesn’t come OFF the DL. Who’s man enough to step up? You’d definitely chalk up a few WSAA in my book. More than enough to cover bail.
