Actually, to clarify - for every loss in this opening season streak by Detroit, I will do a new lolcat.

We'll see how creative I feel as the season wears on. Maybe to celebrate landmark losses. Each loss they add on to the season's beginning is a landmark loss.

I love it too, but I think we need to be careful about stirring up too much bad karma. Perhaps a little perspective is in order.
PECOTA had them at about a .562 clip. If that was consistently the chance of them winning every night, there would be about a 20-25% chance of them losing 7 or more in a row at some point in a 162-game season. Of course, it was about 1 in 300 that it would happen to start the year, but that doesn't support my point. Also, this is an obvious oversimplification, but it's something.
Perhaps actual history is preferred as evidence that we can't relax yet. In the wild card era, the 2006 Cards (8), 2005 White Sox (7), and 2000 Yankees (7) all lost 7 or more in a row.
Finally, as ugly as 0-7 is we haven't exactly jumped out to a big lead. We're what? 1.5 out, and only 3.5 up on Detroit?

You're a Cleveland Indians fan and you're worried about stirring up too much bad karma? Could Cleveland sports teams have more bad karma than they do already?
That being said, it has been a great joy to watch the team that had pretty much been handed the trophy stumble out of the gate and their fans get into a mighty panic. Sure, other recent WS teams have lost 7 in a row, but none has done it out of the gate.

I don't want to find out that we can. For better or worse we have three competitive teams now.
Regarding DET - I wholeheartedly agree. On the bright side, their first win came at Boston's expense.

I love lolcat. What other team could this be done to because I can't think of any. As for karma, once they win then it would be bad karma to keep doing it. But I love lolcat enough to suggest that they would be a stock pile released after the season is completed.
