May 2008 Indians Wallpaper Schedule

Wasn't sure I was going to be able to get this done in time - my computer's acting up like crazy - but I got it working long enough to make this month's wallpaper schedule.

I can't believe it's been 27 years since Large Lenny's perfect game. I was five years old, but clearly remember watching the final out with my older brother. Nice to see that the video of the game is still available via MLB.com.

On that fateful day 27 years ago my dad was given free box seat tickets from his cousin on game day. He and my brothers went and watched a perfect game along with a few thousand other souls. I stayed home, because I had a cold and I was tired and it was a school night …and I watched every single out at home with a deep ambivalence: I was witnessing history from the couch while my brothers were watching live from some of the best seats in the house, and that they were going to remind me of that for the rest of my life.
