Wedge expresses tremendous confidence in Hafner but it is not right to leave him in the 3 hole while he is working this out and it will take a while

I just wonder…At what point does Wedge say, “OK, we’ve got a problem and it’s not going away.” And then, what does he do? Move him to 9, not play him/platoon him? Try to trade him?

way to reward Gutz for being hot … move him from 6 to 8.
The Disabled List just called ... it was trying to unload Joe Borowski. I offered a bagel but balked at giving up a ham sandwich. It wanted to keep Westbrook.

what I’d actually like to see is Hafner get diagnosed with some “back stiffness” or something like that, and spend a little time getting his head on straight before walloping AAA pitching in a rehab assignment…then come back to Cleveland.
