I can hear the playoff story now…. “This Cleveland Indians team struggled mightily in the month fo April, not even getting above .500 until May 12th. Now they are just 3 outs away from a world championship.”

I remember A Rivas game where he did really well.
And I remember Jason Tyner hitting his first home run here into the bullpen.
Put two and two together and you get a tremendous game.

i just checked out the mood at the Jays SBN site, to see their thoughts at that powerhouse lineup being used in game2. we’ve got it easy.
But since the Jays haven’t scored over the last 2 games and in fact have only managed 1 run in the 3 games so far in this series, it doesn’t really matter what the lineup is, does it? Put it this way, to be watching the Jays at this point, you’ve got to have some pretty deep-seated emotional and/or mental issuesgo get ‘em, cliffy!

Inning over.
Jhonny allowed that infield single deliberately, so people will get off Cliff’s back about his unsustainably low BABIP.

Two things baseball announcers can say that drive me insane:
1. Calling home plate “the dish.”
2. Saying there’s “double-barreled action” in the bullpen.
This list could be a lot longer, but I’m sleepy.

Cliff Lee is proof that you can ALWAYS turn it around. I’m hoping it’s Hafner’s elbow.
Hafner might never be an MVP candidate again, but he should at least be capable of some .260/.380/.550 lines.
