Here’s to the Tribe making Cliff look like a human buzzsaw in front of a national audience and the continuation of our amazing from-out-of-nowhere 20-game winning streak.

Hello all! I am posting from section 328, row D of Yankee Stadium. Just saw the Indians take BP and am trying to avoid starting any shit with all the Yankee gear-clad people here. I predict good things from everyone because… Well, why not? So here’s hoping Pronk clubs a few, Lee pitches a perfect game, & i make my train home. Go Tribe!
Despite all of my best intentions, I have not, in fact, grown up to be a debaser.

The pronk wish may be tough. He was out of the lineup I just saw flashed on ESPN.

I immediately regret the tone of this comment. All i have to say is GO TRIBE! And of course, make your presence felt for all of us that can’t be there. Enjoy.

I’ll keep my hopes up that Marte hits a couple of dingers instead. Or maybe Victor. I won’t be choosy.

I feel like if i could sport a Casey Blake beard of beauty life would be much better. I certainly wouldn’t be failing my Spanish poetry class.

Taking Casey out of the lineup a few days in a row for Marte wouldn’t be fair, says Wedge.

He’ll undoubtedly start a Marte-Sizemore-BenFran back-to-back-to-back home run binge … and he’ll start it with a grand slam.

HIRE 6 RUN INNINGS
The Disabled List just called ... it was trying to unload Joe Borowski. I offered a bagel but balked at giving up a ham sandwich. It wanted to keep Westbrook.

Just glimpsed on sportsline’s preview for tonight’s game:
But Chamberlain, a sensation in the bullpen since being called up in August, has had plenty of problems facing Cleveland. Including the postseason, Chamberlain is 0-1 with a 5.19 ERA and two blown saves against the Indians. He’s 3-1 with a 0.84 ERA against everyone else.
Mmm, it feels very good to be a Tribe fan today.

Strange in some new way? Or strange in a continuing way, as in, no one is shocked that our huge slugging left-handed DH isn’t in the lineup against a right hander?

It’s obnoxious that they keep talking about Justin blowing his outing last night like it’s this great world-shattering moment … but if they keep showing Dellucci’s homerun because of it, I suppose I’ll let it slide.

They mentioned that he Showalter advised Shapiro last year. He said he didn’t do much advising, that Shapiro is certainly a great listener, but that it’s impressive the way they run the organization.

Yes, clearly every sportscaster must pose in a swimsuit; call it the “Sports Illustrated Rule.” But Erin Andrews has to wait her turn behind some of her more senior colleagues, like Dick Vitale and Charley Steiner.
