we should trust them

by mrich on Jun 12, 2008 9:44 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

did they just switch Choo and Francisco?
1) when is the last time two position players just switched like that?
2) Why no Gutz?

by DaytonDogg on Jun 12, 2008 9:45 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Manning speculating that they want to give each of them a little playing time in the opposite position.

by Jay on Jun 12, 2008 9:45 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

And now we know that Choo closes his eyes when he tries to catch a ball against the wall.

Andra Davis is a quality MLB. I don’t care what you say.

But Angela Davis plays much better SSLB.

No..some guy on a random Browns website said that he was going to mess up Chris because he insulted Andra Davis on his website.

Andra Davis is undeniably slow.

by Julie on Jun 12, 2008 9:51 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

It’s ok, it actually makes listening to sox games really entertaining. And you can always root against them (sometimes it seems like Stone actually is)

Rooney and Farmer together were a little too solipsistic for my tastes (“so i’m in church the other week, and father mcstuffnsuch is talking about golf…”) but Stone keeps Farmer more on topic. They’re very good together.

by mrich on Jun 12, 2008 9:51 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Farmer is good only when he’s off topic. The farther afield the better.

by DontCallMeJoey on Jun 12, 2008 10:13 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Fly ball, caught by the centerfielder. Dropped while transferring to throwing hand, still an out. Picked up by left fielder. Thrown back to infield, cut off by short stop, and Marte doubled off at first because he thought the center fielder dropped it.

You know, the average 8-7-6-3 double play.

Lots of positive tonight. It’s nice to play a team that has a bullpen that may be worse than ours.

Kind of worrisome to see “pre-Texas” Garko show up. He was back to his pulling ways again. Hopefully it’s just temporary, we need him to be productive.
