Not really. Elarton went a long way so he’s out for a couple of days, I’d guess. Mastny is on the 40-man, so can be called up without cost. He’ll only pitch in a rout. Against Texas, that can happen.

Already have Mujica who isn’t allowed to pitch except in a rout. Now Mastny can join him.

Mujica must have been to indonesia. Needs someone to talk to, eat satay with, play gamelang music, etc.

Those weak popups to the infield are far better than the groundouts back to the pitcher.

The Wild Man of Borneo is back!
But what will happen to the Tribe’s offense with Aubrey gone?

I tried to make Paul Reuschel my Avatar, but he didn't fit into the box.

Bill Murray’s Voice (heard under a cavalcade of, uh, highlights from this season so far): “Once again the eyes of the nation have turned here to this … tiny village in western Pennsylvania, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. There is no way this winter is ever going to end, as long as this groundhog keeps seeing his shadow. I don’t see any other way out. He’s got to be stopped. And I have to stop him.”
Announcer’s voice: Cleveland Indians 2008. Are you IN the Tribe?
Now there’s an ad campaign I can get behind.

When Chekhov wrote The Long Winter, he depicted a winter long and bleak and bereft of hope. But as I stand here amongst the people of Punxatawney, and warm up by their hearts and hearths…. I can’t think of a better fate than a long an lustrous winter.

Me on the last eight posts: We’re giving away way too many comments. I am sick and tired of us giving away comments. They need to get out of their own heads and start writing originally. Quit talking about Borneo and just go out and have an original thought.
On the reasons: Cognition by repetition. Come on, let’s go. You’ve got to be smart enough to kick yourself out of it. Hey, if they’ve got to get mad at me to do it, then so be it. I know they’re capable of doing better. I’m tired of seeing the same thing with the comments from day to day. They need to be better than this. It’s the big leagues [of blogging].
On talking like this: I hate talking like this, but we’ve got to do better.

Nowhere on LGT (if the search function is accurate) has the expression Wild Man of Borneo appeared before. I didn’t post the above comment more than once. Something screwy going on.
