I admire the trend this season. (This assumes the injuries are legit).
1) Let JoBo pitch with even less velocity than normal, chalked up to a triceps injury. Heck, let him pitch until he gets rocked through the roof a couple of times, then DL him!
2) Let Hafner dink, dunk, and suck his way to Felix Ferminville, all while suspecting a troublesome shoulder. Then DL him! (Okay, this injury seems dubious to say the least).
3) Let Victor turn into a singles hitter for 60 games. Then DL—wait, they haven’t done anything but let him hit in the middle of the lineup so far.
Um, training staff, docs, can we be a little more proactive here?
