Yes, Let’s.

Despite my complaining in the other thread, I really am thrilled to see Omar again.

Since posting really hasn’t started, I’m just gonna throw up some pictures of Omar.

That’s all.

There is a picture on the wall of a bar in Cleveland I sometimes go to, and it reminds me that Omar was unbelievably jacked in the late-90s. You can kind of see it here. It makes me wonder why he didn’t hit with more power.

by jhon on Jun 24, 2008 7:06 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

I’m totally feeling a sweep this series.

by Chief Wahoo on Jun 24, 2008 7:06 PM EDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

We don’t get Lincecum, do we?

Steel Nick

by nickjs21 on Jun 24, 2008 7:07 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Nope. Zito tomorrow, Cain on Thursday

by Chief Wahoo on Jun 24, 2008 7:10 PM EDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

ahh – I took that as “if we sweep them, do we get to take Lincecum too?”

I think we can just pencil in Cain for 6 IP, 7 K, 1 ER and a Loss.

I’m kind of annoyed that STO was on break during the video tribute/hat tip/ovation. We’ll have to wait until probably the third inning to see Omar bat.

He needs a level between the majors and AAA to work out his problems, apparently.

I saw the Giants play in Washington. I remember two things:

1) Lincecum is incredible. I thought for sure he’d no hit the nats.

2) Jose Castillo hit 4 of the hardest hit balls I’ve ever seen from one bat in one game, including two no-doubt home runs.

I moved away, and everyone I know got married and got jobs. Many have left the homeland. I no longer party down in Cleveland. When I do go home now it’s all business. I’m more likely to party down in any city but Cleveland.

That said, I have fond memories of partying down in my city. If you ever have an excuse to go there-a concert, a ballgame, a convention, whatever-by all means go and party down.
